To You

Sarah's debut album showcases honest, poetic songwriting that comes from the heart.  Inspired by the folk, country and pop genres, this eclectic collage of songs, is in a genre of its own.

To You is dedicated to Sarah's cousin, Matthew Rupel, who passed away from a rare genetic disease called Friedreich's Ataxia (FA) in August 2017 at the age of 26. Through her music, she hopes to spread awareness about FA to help find a cure.

Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA)

It has been one month since Matt Rupel, a beloved member of the Freidreich’s Ataxia family, passed away at the age of 26. His family wrote and recorded a song in his honor, which was performed at memorial services for Matt. The Rupel family is determined to continue fighting for a cure for FA. They have donated this song to the Freidreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) in the hope that people inspired by Matt’s life will download the song in exchange for a gift in support of FARA’s ongoing work toward a cure. People who purchase the song using the link provided may choose how much to donate. You can give $1 or $10 or even $100 or more. Remember, all proceeds go to Freidrich’s Ataxia research. Please give as generously as you can. The song is written and performed by Matt’s father Bart, his uncles Bill and Tim, his sister Katie and his cousins Sarah and Chris. It is meant to be contemplative but also humorous, just like Matt.
